The die height adjustment mechanism includes two servo motors, which can independently adjust the height at both ends of the die. There are two distance sensors, respectively installed on both sides of the coating die or the coating platform. With this preferred configuration, the heights at both ends can be adjusted independently, facilitating uniform control of film thickness. The distance sensors are mounted on both sides of the coating platform and inverted beneath the coating die. This preferred arrangement—mounting the distance sensors upside-down below the coating die—enables upward measurement, saving space. Alternatively, the distance sensors may be fixed via mounting brackets to the sides of the coating die. In this configuration, downward measurement is performed; the mounting structure is simple and facilitates calibration using a granite reference platform. A preset comparison threshold is defined, and the real-time height difference between the two ends of the coating die is calculated. If this difference exceeds the preset threshold, the die height is automatically adjusted back into the preset target range.

A die height adjustment mechanism (5) is provided to adjust the vertical position of the coating die (1). Distance sensors are installed on either the coating die (1) or the coating platform (2) to measure the gap between them. A target height value and an allowable deviation are predefined based on the application environment. The distance sensors continuously measure the gap between the coating die (1) and the coating platform (2). This measured distance is compared with the target height value, and the die height adjustment mechanism (5) adjusts the height of the coating die (1) accordingly. The distance sensors perform real-time gap monitoring. Based on the target height and allowable deviation, a valid height range is established. If the real-time measurement deviates beyond this range, a closed-loop control system automatically adjusts the coating die (1) back into the preset height range. The beneficial effect of this technical solution is that, during the coating process, the distance between the coating die and the coating surface is directly measured by the distance sensors, and real-time closed-loop adjustments are made to the die position. This significantly reduces the impact of die height variations on the coated film, resulting in a high-quality film with consistent and uniform thickness.
